Weekend PracticesFor our San Diego Beach Volleyball practices, we teach all aspects of beach volleyball in an encouraging and supportive setting. Developed by American professional players and certified coaches, our practices and training sessions teach overall ball control, proper technique on passing, setting and spiking. Our training programs are high energy and will improve your strength, stamina and overall fitness. Training excellent for beginner, intermediate and advanced players.

Weekday PracticesIn these practices, we stress the importance of ball control, hand setting, shot shaping and hitting placement/accuracy. We offer many repetitions to allow for more consistency. Private LessonsWe teach the basic skills and fundamentals. We try and teach in the same order of operations for example, we start with overhead serving, and move through the order to include passing, setting and attacking. Our primary focus is on overall ball control and proper technique. It's important at this level that the trainee understands what the "big picture" looks like while they learn and rehearse the basic skills.

CBVA TRAINING SESSIONS

This training session is mainly geared toward tournament level athletes and players ready to train for CBVA tournaments. You must have a current CBVA rating or get approval from Tim Strong to be allowed to register for this class, as we only take our strongest and most skilled athletes. In CBVA Training, we cover ways to improve scoring by rehearsing scoring situations that often result in point loss. Also, we run more performance based drills which are used to acclimate the trainee to the pressures faced during competition.
