"Spike Out Hunger!" Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament

Come play volleyball and support the Spike Out Hunger holiday food drive. Co-Ed doubles divisions on short courts. Since 2011, Spike Out Hunger has been a festive, no attitude, round robin, blind draw with gifts, hot lunch, playoffs and prizes. This event is a play with wind, rain or sunshine.

Please pay $20 in advance to ensure your spot, your Spike Out Hunger gift and lunch expenses.

Please remember to bring:
* Peanut butter and/or
* Dry cereal food donations
for less fortunate families.

Walk on players are OK with no guarantee of playing or goodies.

An Event To Benefit South Mission Beach!

San Diego Beach Volleyball League will host its Second Annual “Labor Day Weekend Classic” Beach Volleyball Tournament on August 31, 2013 at Mission Beach in San Diego!

There will be a maximum of 25 teams participating in this event (so sign up early), hundreds of spectators, and a portion of proceeds raised will go towards equipment improvement at South Mission Beach!  Top finishers will receive prizes!

When:

Check-In: 8:00-8:30 a.m. | Start: 9:00 a.m.

Details:

• Coed, intermediate beach volleyball tournament
• Teams of 2
• Pool play - top 2 teams in each pool make it to playoffs
• Playoffs are single elimination
• Limit of 25 teams in the tournament, so register early!
• $50 per team ($25 per person) *$40 if you register before August 4th
• Each player receives a tournament tank top
• Prizes for pool winners and top finishers
• Proceeds will go towards equipment improvements at South Mission Beach!
